Pendennis yard are passionate about yachts. Whether the shipyard is building, refitting or providing international yacht support, it prides itself on delivering world-class service. Operating in the 30m–100m superyacht market, meeting the specific needs of each of its clients is very important to Pendennis. They work hard to develop partnerships that will be both long-lasting and productive.
At Pendennis, each yacht the shipyard works on has its own persona and individual style – the yacht and its crew become extended members of the Pendennis family. The Pendennis family can be found all over the globe. Pendennis Falmouth is a full-service facility capable of building custom yachts up to 100m, as well as undertaking substantial restoration and remodelling projects and routine class/flag refit works. The world-class facilities have been designed and built specifically to accommodate such impressive projects.
Three new purpose-built construction halls were completed in 2014, with a central spine that houses project offices and workshops to give direct access to each construction bay. An additional four-storey building provides modern office and workshop spaces, with the addition of an impressive hospitality suite. Pendennis’ 7,564m² enclosed non-tidal wet basin came into use during spring 2015, and now provides direct seaward access to the yard, significantly improving project efficiency in the periods before and after a yacht’s time out of the water. This basin also facilitates short refit works for yachts of up to 100m. A flexible 150m undercover dry dock provides project space for larger yacht refit programmes, and is environmentally controlled with a state-of-the-art dust extraction system – perfect for large-scale superyacht painting. The selection of purpose-built workshops, offices and storage facilities complete the impressive, modern facilities provided for our tradespeople and visiting crews.
The quality of Pendennis’ work stands the test of time, with yachts returning year after year for routine maintenance, benefitting from the shipyard’s highly skilled tradespeople, knowledge and global network.
