How Feadship built the 87-metre LONIAN
The Netherlands-based shipyard Feadship made an impression this week, becoming one of the first shipyards to unveil the entire construction process for one of its yachts, PROJECT 700, christened LONIAN, in an impressive timelapse video! The shipyard always show the finished superyachts, but this time they unveiled what three years of building a Feadship looks like in five minutes, without missing a single step from Day One! Until she is christened later this month, the 87-metre Feadship LONIAN, which has just emerged from one of the construction halls at the Aalsmeer yard, continues to be referred to as PROJECT 700 (don’t read anything into the 700 – it’s simply the hull number, albeit admittedly a landmark one for the yard...)
